Welcome to the Wombat Hotel located in the country town of Wombat and easy 15-20 min drive from Harden-Murrumburrah. The hotel has had a continuous liquor license since 1877, making it the longest serving in NSW. The present building was built around 1903.
The hotel has a great atmosphere and fantastic staff and a great affordable menu and a living historic display throughout the hotel. So come down and enjoy a great time either during the week or on the weekends
The village of Wombat is renowned for its cherry production and was an historic gold mining area. There are still the odd remnants of diggings located on the landscape. Wombat is also becoming known for its Australia Day Tractor Pull and markets.
