Founded in 1970, the Murrumburrah-Harden Historical Society Museum is located in the old 1912 School of Arts building in Albury Street. You can find fantastic resources including bound copies of local newspapers and old photographs of buildings and people. There are clothing displays and a chemist and blacksmith shops. Other themes in the  collection include railways, mining, kitchen, school and musical instruments.

There is also a small library and a collection of maps. The museum is home to the magnificent bar from the Harden Railway Station. The friendly staff of dedicated volunteers are always there to answer your questions and can help you research your family history. You are welcome to purchase copies of old photographs from their extensive collection.
